Racha Islands are easily accessible from Phuket. With a big day trip boat taking about 2.5 hours and a speedboat reaching Racha Noi in just 1 hour. This quick travel time allows for more sightseeing opportunities. Racha Noi has two main areas—the south and north end. The north side offers easy to moderate dive sites, while the south end features a spot for advanced divers known for Manta Ray sightings. The south tip boasts granite boulders ranging from 12m to 40m in depth, with an excellent chance to encounter majestic Manta Rays atop the pinnacle at 12m. This dive site is ideal for advanced divers as it typically has little current, providing a fantastic underwater experience.
Racha Noi Dive Sites
Explore easy to moderate dive sites like Banana Bay, Racha Noi Bay, and Marina Bay, where the shallows teem with giant morays, black and white snappers (especially in their juvenile stage), sea snakes, and occasional sightings of great barracuda. This is a great option for a smaller dive group. Nooreen can take a maximum of 4 divers plus about 8 non-divers, and even up to 15 guests if all are non-divers.
