Building on the Open Water course, the SSI Advanced Adventurer Diving program offers structured and supervised opportunities for Open Water divers to delve into new and thrilling domains like deep diving, night diving, and navigation. Encompassing online learning through the SSI education system, your dives are integrated into SSI specialty courses, accelerating your diving proficiency. We provide various options with diverse destinations to accommodate all budgets.
The SSI course:
This course comprises 5 Open Water dives via day trip boat. Granting you an SSI certification recognized globally and opening doors to thrilling adventures.
Embrace the SSI Advanced Adventurer course promptly by delving into online theory via FREE digital learning – study at your convenience, whether at home or on-the-go with your laptop or iPad. For PADI courses, consider enrolling in eLearning for a supplementary fee.
With a maximum class size of 4 students per dive instructor. You have the option to book a private course for personalized attention at an extra cost.
Leverage the SSI learning system to engage in free online learning from the comfort of your home, hotel, or beach, enabling you to study on your own terms.
Prices include digital learning, dive equipment, certification fee, course material, log book and dive insurance.
All dive trips include breakfast, lunch and soft drinks.

New underwater adventures – let’s dive!
Move up a gear and experience fun and adventure with the SSI Advanced Adventurer Diver course. You make six dives and have the opportunity to try some of diving’s varied specialty activities, such as deep diving, underwater photography, wreck diving and much more. These skills make diving so much more than underwater sightseeing. When you take this course you start to see how much diving has to offer and you build your confidence and experience.
With your Instructor you will complete deep and navigation Adventure Dives. These dives boost your confidence as you build these basic advanced skills. Then, you can choose three additional dives from more than 15 Adventure Dives to complete your course. You can go diving at night (note: only on liveaboards), check out the local wreck, learn more about marine life, learn about drift dives, boat diving and more – all during your Advanced Open Water Diver course.
Should you not want to choose e-learning:
Should you not want to do e-learning we suggest that you stay close to Sunrise Divers (we are at Karon Beach) when taking your Advanced course. Ideally you should plan to visit our shop any day before your diving starts to complete paperwork, get your course manual and you can try equipment. On both diving days, pick up is from your hotel, pick up time 7:30am based on hotels in Karon or Kata Beach area. Pick up also possible from Patong. Other areas of Phuket may have an extra pick up fee.
2 Day Advanced Adventurer Course 5 Dives – Itinerary
DAY 1: 7:30am
pick up from hotel, diving 2 dives at Koh Racha Yai, return about 4:00pm.
*Transfers included from/to hotels at Kata, Karon or Patong beach areas of Phuket.
Other areas an extra fee may apply, please check with us before booking that your hotel is in a free pick up area.
DAY 2: 7:30am
diving 3 dives at King Cruiser Wreck, Shark Point and Koh Doc Mai, return about 5:30pm.
*Transfers included from/to hotels at Kata, Karon or Patong beach areas of Phuket.
